Sweettooth designer and Creative Director
Amy Barber began her business by crafting one little bird on a bobby pin. Her line of baby birds
on bobbie pins quickly generated enough revenue and retailer interest to begin selling commercially January 2004. Jumping at the opportunity to put her fine arts degree to use, Amy set out to create a line of accessories that reflected her eclectic aesthetic exploring the line between product development and art. Inspired by artificial fruit, various found objects, birds, feathers and fabric Amy's work has been featured in WWD Los Angeles, Sex & the City, on the DIY television network and more. Amy holds a BA in Theatre & Dance from the University of Texas @ Austin.
